These are the documents we need from you in order to obtain the fireworks display permit in Spain.
There are several types of documents. To make them easier to understand, we have organized them either by type or by the authority we must contact on your behalf to process them.
They are organized under a code (“Cod”), and each document then has its own unique number (00). Sometimes, a letter is added after the number (.z) to identify versions that may apply to you.
If you see the “info” icon next to the document number —an “i” inside a green circle— you can click it to find more information about the document, including how to complete it and what it must contain.
⚠️ Spanish law requires that all documents you send us, and that we later submit to the relevant authorities, be accompanied by a Spanish translation. You can translate them yourself (see the ‣ section) or authorize Mikel Pagola to translate them for you using an online computer system. The authorization form is included under type “F” documents, below.
This is especially important for type “A” documents that you must send us, because the forms (“F”) that you will complete are already in Spanish.
1. General documents:
| Cod: | Tipe: | Explanation: |
|---|---|---|
| A | OriginAls | Digital copies of original documents from your company that we need. |
| E | WritE | You must write or prepare a document containing the required information. |
| F | Forms | Download the forms from the “Docs” column in this table. Complete them correctly, sign and stamp them. |
| S | Sign+Stamp | You only need to read, sign and stamp the documents that we send you. |
| C | Contracts | Private contracts between the Spanish company that will help you and your own company. By law, you must receive legal/technical assistance in Pamplona from a Spanish company. Mikel Pagola will provide you with the relevant details. |
| Z | Pamplona City Council (Z) | Documents that Carmen Ruiz (from the Administration, contac “B”), will request from you for the contract with the City Council. These documents are required to complete the contracting procedure and to allow payment afterwards. |
2. If you need to import your own products from your country:
This section only applies if you are going to bring your own products to Pamplona —that is, import them into Spain— whether it is only a small part of the material or all of it. We must request prior authorization for the import of your products from Madrid, through the Guardia Civil special explosives unit, at least more than one month before your display date.
| Cod: | Kind: | |
|---|---|---|
| T | Transferencia (90) | The “Transferencia Inversa” document, required to import products from your country into Spain in order to fire them. We send this document to Madrid, to ICAE —the Central Intervention of Arms and Explosives of the Guardia Civil. We must wait until the authorization is issued. Without this authorization, you may be fined when entering Spain and, in any case, you will be fined in Pamplona. You will not be allowed to fire those products, and they will be seized by the Guardia Civil. |
